Going out, shopping, watch movies, chit chat, eat, walk in malls....that most common thigns teenagers always do....
To do it again and again..wasting money and time....
i start to think to do something different..
Nad, i treat he like my god-sis...
i suggested to her "Gurl...let's go discovery centre..i want to do something different ah..i get bored going out to town..." She agrees to also try out somethign different.
And we went to Spore discovery centre and as usual, i always plan the journey so that we dun waste time finding what bus to take, which stop to alight and so on... this all can be done through research on the internet. this is bcoz i dun like unplanned journey. Waste time and energy..haha!
(Pic above): We took the SAFTI bus tour!! It's a Singapore Armed Forces Training institute..
It is a place where they train those Singaporeans mens to be officers...COOL...
(Pic below): before that, we watch 2 3D shows called the 'i werks'. Its kinda cool coz it makes the images look so real! The images are like just right infront of ur face! i feel so funny wearing the 3D specs...
(pic below): Then after that, went to the army museum.....such a nice scenery..There's kayaking!
Planning to come here again just for the kayaking..It's only 1 dollar or 2 dollar...
Well, its gonna worth the adventure.
We also tried out the rifles where they use it in the army...called the individual marksmanship trainer...we shoot the target.."BANG, BANG!" like in CS.
then...after the SAFTI tour and i werks, then we went to realize that discovery centre is more like about singapore future, its technologies and weapons, the singapore armed forces... (pic above): Discovery is all about using ur senses, "hear what, see what, touch wat"....
(Pic above): Nad on TV!! she is acting to be a news broadcaster. Broadcasting about the history of TV in singapore...errr..

Flying Experience Madness...
Next morning, we have to wake up at 5:30am because at 6am, we are suppossed to have our breakfast. To eat breakfast at 6 am? can you imagine? So early..
Pic(below): this is where there are tons of fuel here. this thing is like Caltex for planes, where they get fuel for refuelling....
Pic(above) : Aircraft instruments...Any instruments look familiar to you?
Pic(above): My closest pals during the trip,to my right is Maverick and to my left is Wolfman...
They are doing marshalling, some of us are doing flight planning....
Pic(above): after doing all the flying, marshalling, etc...., we decided to relax for a while, chit chat and see planes and helicopter land and take off.
Pic(above): Went back to hotel, took a bath then went for our dinner.
After dinner, i decided to go to sleep coz i was too tired and have to complete the worksheet they gave to us.
I think some of the year 3 guys went to play bowling and pool...walao..
Pic (above): last day of the trip... we had to do our presentation... One guy got sick and so, all of the 4 teams have to present in 30 minutes.
So, the total time for all 4 teams to present is only 30 minutes. this is even faster than presenting in RP. hehe.

'Love' elective?...
"Love 101 proves top hit in class"

Pic(above): Topics such as cohabitation are part of the 'love' elective at the Singapore Polytechnic.
STUDENTS are falling for the 'love' elective offered at two polytechnics.
At Singapore Polytechnic (SP), 'Love relations for life - a journey of romance, love and sexuality' made the top 10 list of most popular general elective courses last year.
It is in such demand that the polytechnic has doubled the number of available places from 360 last year to 720 this year.
At Ngee Ann Polytechnic, close to 400 students have sat for the elective on 'Understanding relationships: love and sexuality', introduced last year.
These 'love' courses aim to teach students all about love and relationships.
Madam Sukie Tong, who teaches the elective at SP, told The Straits Times: 'The class is not about getting students to pair up, but teaching them relationship skills so that if and when they are in one, they can handle things better.'
Skills to resolve conflicts, and lessons on why men and women think and react differently are all part and parcel of the 15-week course, said Madam Tong.
She added: 'Students say their relationships improved after they took the elective, for example, as they realised the importance of giving their boyfriends more space.'
It is so pleased by the success of the 'love' electives that it now wants to extend them to junior college students, The Straits Times reported earlier this month.
But why are students rushing to learn about love? They are not as starry-eyed as you might think. The elective is easy to score in, say students interviewed.
Ng Zhi Xian, 19, said: 'I took the elective to get an A. All my friends who took the elective scored an A.'
As Madam Tong put it: 'Nobody has failed this elective yet. It's impossible to fail unless you don't do any work at all.'
My response: I think this is a good module as in it gives tips on how to resolve conflicts and such…
Of course, most students will get A lar!
if there were to have a first record of student failing this module, i think there is something wrong with the student.
But I’m sure that if I am one of the students there, I will be debating there in the love elective. I will agree to some things in this elective but not all of them.
For example, they encourage cohabitation. (cohabitation is when a couple decide to live together before they get married.)
Anything can happen during cohabitation period like what if teenage cannot control their temptations and resort to having sex …by then, it’s not love but just lust.
It is said that cohabitation helps to prevent divorce and such…
But I think cohabitation is not the only way to relsove conflicts but it is how well the couple communicate with each other, understanding, love, etc….

Just like in the movie ‘license to wed’…
in this movie, the couple cohabitate but at the end of the movie, what they realize is that all they have to do is to juz communicate to solve their problems.
